Alan graduated with a degree in graphic design, but his sights changed to the IT industry once an amazing opportunity presented itself through social networking. Throughout his career, Alan has become knowledgeable and specializes in bare metal servers and general data center hardware. He continues to expand his knowledge of operating systems and web hosting environments and applies his expertise to ensure our clients’ success. Outside of work, he is an avid fan of baseball and old-school arcade games. Alan lives in Plano, Texas with his beagle dog Petey.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado. He has been a member of the Patmos team since its inception. Alex has a passion for problem solving. Outside of work Alex enjoys archery, rock climbing, music, and team sports.

Aubrey, a tech-savvy individual with an insatiable passion for dogs and her children, is renowned for her people-centric approach to life. Over the past decade, she has seamlessly integrated technology into her daily routines, leveraging its power to enhance her connections and experiences. With a profound love for canines and an unwavering dedication to her family, Aubrey navigates the digital landscape with ease, utilizing innovative tools to strengthen her bonds with both her furry companions and her beloved children. Her ability to embrace technology while staying grounded in her genuine love for others makes her a true standout in today’s ever-evolving world.

Brooke studied Creative Writing and Psychology at Purdue University before moving to Colorado. After a few years, she made a 180 and delved into the world of computer programming by attending a bootcamp in web development. She often says that the change in careers was one of the “best decisions of her life”. While she is technically savvy and loves solving the logic problems that come with coding, she also has a creative side and enjoys crafting, sewing, and dancing.

Camilla graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Mary’s College of California with a passion for service, problem-solving, and relationship building. Although on track to apply to law school, she jumped at the opportunity to protect clients’ freedom online instead of the courtroom. Camilla’s favorite part of her job is building meaningful relationships with clients, partners, and organizations who are looking for technology solutions that will empower their business to grow. During her 5 to 9 you can find her at a workout class, enjoying a good book, or vintage shopping.

Chris has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Ancient Greek and Roman Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a Master of Arts in Theology and Christian Ministry, and a Master of Computer and Information Technology. Chris has served in many roles throughout his career but now specializes in mobile app development. When Chris isn’t working, he enjoys playing sports and board games and watching movies. Chris lives in Overland Park, Kansas.

After growing up in New York and going to school in California, Chris settled in Colorado in 2021 where he met his wife and found Patmos. He loves the free speech oriented mission of the company, and enjoys contributing his software engineering skills to forward that goal. In his free time he plays guitar, spends time with his family, and builds his own web applications as well.

Chris keeps the digital lights on while you sleep, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operations. Don’t let the late nights fool you, he is passionate about keeping your systems running like a well-oiled machine.

Christine Brunelli is VP of Marketing at Patmos Hosting, with two decades of experience growing brands and building high-performing teams. She’s led marketing for startups, PE-backed firms, and AI infrastructure providers and still finds time for family, friends, and tennis.

Collin is a software engineer based in Idaho with experience in the defense and alternative economy fields. He focuses on web frameworks for rapid development such as WordPress, Craft, and ReactJS. When not building beautiful, efficient, and scalable software solutions for Patmos clients, he enjoys spending time with his family and tinkering with the various technological marvels of yesteryear he finds at antique stores.

Conor is a Denver native and an honors graduate from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, where he gained an appreciation for customer service through culinary innovation and discovered an interest in financial analysis while building advanced Excel models and automating them with VBA code. This curiosity and skill set led him to a role in Chipotle’s IT department, where he applied his expertise to rebuild project tracking models and enhance operational efficiencies. Conor’s entrepreneurial spirit then inspired the creation of the Rocky Mountain Cheesery Food Truck, establishing a notable presence in Denver’s food scene focusing on exceptional quality, service, and community engagement. Seeking to further his technical prowess, he enrolled at Hack Reactor, earning an Advanced Software Engineering Certificate. Today, as a software engineer at Patmos, Conor continues to apply his analytical skills and leadership, notably in projects that integrate cutting-edge technologies with practical business needs.

Danielle works as an administrative systems manger, specializing in billing and client relations. Enjoying the day-to-day financial details, she thrives in her constructive team environment. Previously serving in the US Army Military Police Corps until 2023, she is enjoying her transition to the private sector. Her personal passions extend to travel and food, so far Danielle has visited over 40 countries trying the local cuisine all along the way. Danielle currently lives in Florida, where she loves long walks with her all white Husky, affectionately named Ghost.

Deidra, originally from New York, has called a Kansas City suburb her home since 2008, alongside her husband and two cats. She’s deeply immersed in the tech industry for over 15 years, finding fulfillment in collaborating with intelligent problem solvers. A self-proclaimed cat lady, Deidra also indulges in collecting agates and crystals sourced from Mother Earth, adding a touch of natural wonder to her life. Her enthusiasm extends to both caffeine and motorcycles, reflecting a passion for speed and productivity. And of course, she proudly cheers for the Chiefs!

Eric Tamez brings light and laughter into every room, especially when surrounded by his two teenage daughters, navigating life with a stoic grace. His journey took an unexpected turn into the tech world, a field far from where he initially thought he’d find himself, (in a cage or ring). Eric was always a jack of all trades, exploring various interests without locking himself into a single path. This broad range of experiences turned out to be his secret weapon in management and technology. Without starting his career in tech, Eric stumbled upon this area and quickly showed a natural talent for solving complex problems and innovating. Today, he excels in DC scene, applying the diverse skills and knowledge he’s gathered from his many adventures. It seems all the detours Eric took were leading him to exactly where he needed to be, combining his sense of humor, resilience, and technical prowess in a unique blend that makes him stand out.

Gellert helped Java Trading Co. bring specialty coffee to the masses on three continents over his 15-year tenure, leaving shortly after a private equity sale in 2006. As a practicing Catholic, Dornay developed a strong desire to promote human dignity through business, which led to his co-founding Axia Home Loans in 2007. Homeownership contributes greatly to family and economic stability. Under Gellert’s leadership as CEO, Axia grew to fund over $1 billion annually, helping thousands of families become homeowners. Dornay is the only newcomer to successfully build a national mortgage bank during the Great Recession. And in 2016, Axia became the first 100% employee-owned mortgage bank. Just as owners take better care of homes and communities, so do the hundreds of employee-owners with Axia who now participate in company ownership and contribute to a stronger and more just and equitable economy. Dornay continues the promotion of human flourishing through involvement on several nonprofit and for-profit boards of entities focused on being forces for good in society. Gellert and his wife Elizabeth were blessed with 11 children and recently fled Seattle, relocating to the right side of the mountains in Spokane (Eastern Washington).

Greg is a seasoned tech professional with nearly a decade of experience in the industry. Hailing from the Lone Star State, Texas, he embodies the spirit of hospitality and hard work. When he is not immersed in the world of technology, you can find him indulging in one of his passions: barbecuing mouthwatering dishes that pay homage to his Texan roots or diving into the nostalgia of retro gaming, building a collection that reflects his love for classic gaming experiences.

Ilian, a law graduate and a proud father of two boys, entered the IT field in 2009 but the journey began earlier with FreeBSD. Free time? Avid squash addict.

While studying for her B.S. in Web and Digital Design, Isabel joined Patmos’s design team. She now works behind the scenes creating graphics, prototypes, and more.

With over seven years of experience in the technology industry, Ivan has established a strong foundation in network engineering, specializing in routing protocols and providing support for enterprise switches and routers during my tenure at IBM for Cisco TAC. Transitioning to Codero (now Patmos) in April 2023 as a Senior Network Engineer, Ivan continues to leverage his expertise in network architecture and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance.

Jasmine graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications degree, and upon graduation, moved to Tokyo Japan, where she spent 5 years teaching English to business students. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin and has elementary proficiency in Japanese. Jasmine manages resource allocation and project planning using agile methodology for the Patmos custom software development projects. She believes in cultivating open communication and relationship-building amongst coworkers and clients. Jasmine is a military wife who lives in Fayetteville, North Carolina with her husband and 2 children. Outside of work and family, she is an Equestrian focused on Dressage discipline and recently competed in her first USEF/USDF-recognized show.

With over 10 years experience in HR Management, Jess brings with her a passion for continuous improvement, change management and organizational development. Although an introvert at heart, she offers a resilient nature focused on finding the root cause and making informed decisions that minimize risk and optimize outcomes. In her spare time if she isn’t spending it with her husband on the river, their daughter or dogs Opie & Beans, she spends it gardening and working in her greenhouse.

With over 20 years of experience running hosting, cloud, and data center businesses, Joe holds multiple certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, DevOps, and information technology. His mission is to help create the next generation of solutions for high-density and emerging technologies that will enable more flexible, cost-effective, and profitable computing for our clients. Joe leads a team of talented and dedicated professionals who design and implement effective IT strategies and customer-centric solutions. Joe is passionate about delivering high-quality and reliable services.

John Johnson founded Patmos Hosting and serves as its CEO. He studied philosophy in college and graduate school. Besides working every day for a freer internet, he has a passion for faith, family, and education. John has founded multiple thriving businesses in various fields. He married well and has six young children.

John is a dedicated member at Patmos where they are committed to ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction in everything they do.

Kari leads operations at Patmos, focusing on systems, processes, and cross-functional alignment to support the company’s growth. She oversees day-to-day business operations, drives strategic initiatives, and integrates new capabilities across the organization. Known for her pragmatic approach, Kari simplifies complex problems and helps teams move quickly and effectively toward scale.

Katarina graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor degree in Special Education. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, she worked full time as a Client Associate at Merrill Lynch and part time as an executive assistant in interior design. Upon graduation, she spent 5 years teaching English as a second language to students in China. Katarina joined the Patmos team in June of 2022 as an Executive Assistant and Hiring Manager. She approaches all aspects of any job with a positive and hard-working attitude. She is passionate in helping to find solutions to any need whether big or small. Katarina focuses on customer service at the forefront of everything she does. Katarina is a military spouse and has lived in four states in the duration of her husband’s career from Honolulu, Hawaii to Columbia, SC. If she is not on the job you can find her traveling with her husband and two daughters, or actively volunteering in her children’s school.

Lincoln has been working in the hosting industry for over ten years with a focus on storage, databases, and monitoring. He is currently located in Texas. His interests include ecology, philosophy, and political economy.

Making the most of the joys and challenges of family+faith life. Luke enjoys reliving memories by playing classic video games like Defender, Asteroids, or Robotron 2084. When he is not blasting rocks, robots and invaders on the screen, he can also be found enjoying the fast-paced action of pinball or afternoons at the range. Luke has done everything from debugging Assembly code to setting up Enterprise servers. While he appreciates the simplicity and control of bare-metal deployments , he tends to prefer the flexibility and efficiency of virtualization.

Marc served as Vice President – Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, and Assistant Secretary at eBay from April 2018 through December 2021 where he was chairman of the board of eBay Commerce, eBay’s domestic regulated managed payments entity. Prior to this, Mr. Rome served as the Vice President – Legal Affairs, Corporate Governance, Securities, and Finance and Assistant Secretary at T-Mobile from February 2013 through April 2018. From September 2009 through February 2013, Mr. Rome served as Vice President – Corporate Governance and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Chesapeake Energy. Mr. Rome received a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of San Francisco and a doctor of law (J.D.) degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Markus was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and holds a master’s degree in Software Engineering. He works in Software Quality Assurance, where he focuses on ensuring reliable and high-performing software products. Outside of work, Markus enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and cooking.

Marykate has always had a flair for the creative arts. Sketching and drawing since childhood, she pursued her degree in Graphic Design and has worked in the field for more than 20 years. Her skillset has expanded in the last six years to include WordPress Web Design & Development. When she is not found diligently at her computer, she might be found at her easel, continuing to be creative through the medium of traditional oil painting and portraiture.

Rosalyn Martin serves as the Executive Assistant to Patmos Hosting’s CEO, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting the executive team and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, Rosalyn brings over 10 years of administrative and executive support experience, mostly in tech-driven environments. She holds a degree in English from the University of Northern Colorado. Born and raised in the Rockies, she will always consider herself a Colorado girl, but she now happily resides in Northern Texas. Outside of work, she has a passion for faith and family as well as a creative streak fueled by writing, knitting, baking, and getting lost in a good jigsaw puzzle.

Thomas is the lead web developer at Patmos Hosting. While working as a middle school math and science teacher teaching students simple programming concepts in lua, he began exploring and learning the field and decided to pursue a job. Hired by Greenegg Media in 2020, he became experienced in PHP, Craft CMS, Epressionengine, and Mobile App frameworks like Swift UI, React Native, and Ionic. Now, he is leading the web development team at Patmos and focusing on internal web projects for the cloud. In his free time, he practices, learns, and speaks french with his wife and daughter, plays and writes music, and tries to read a book every once in a while when his daughter doesn’t want to play.

Tim Starr has been in the hosting business for 13 years and has over 20 years of Customer Support experience. He grew up in Orlando Florida. He enjoys spending time with his dogs, watching Kaiju films, and listening to loud music.

Tim is a Colorado native. Born and raised in Littleton, Tim has been an entrepreneur his whole life. He has started and grown several businesses in multiple industries. He is experienced in acquiring businesses and integrating efficiencies as well as bootstrapping start-ups. In addition to starting and growing businesses, Tim has raised money for nonprofits, and works as a fire officer for the local fire department. He holds an MBA from Babson College and is close to finishing a “mini MBA” from Denver University. Tim’s favorite time is spent with his family. He “outkicked his coverage” as he says marrying his wife. Together with their eight children, they love spending time camping, hiking, and juggling a busy household. Tim anchors himself in his faith and serves others to glorify God.

Zach is a problem-solving enthusiast with a strong desire to learn, particularly about the intricacies of hardware, software, networks, and technology. Thriving in quiet, focus-friendly environments that encourage growth and innovation, he values trust, honesty, accountability, and respect, making decisions based on logical, fact-driven analysis and resolving conflicts through open, collaborative communication. With a diverse background that includes outdoor sports like surfing and living in eight major cities, he is now passionately pursuing a tech career, aiming to master fields like networking, AI, and cybersecurity.
